Role
Summary
Will render and promote cost effective, quality patient care in accordance
with Lenmed / Hospital standards and policies
Responsible for direct and / or indirect nursing care of a patient or a
group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing and supervising the
implementation of care to meet patient needs
Key
Work Output and Accountabilities
- Careful assessment and monitoring of patient
progress in order to watch for sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s
medical condition - Managing medication doses, and ventilator
- Prepared to work long hours and deal with
critically ill patients on a daily basis - Communicate in a clear, concise manner
appropriate to patient needs - Knowledgeable and sensitive to patient’s
rights in the delivery of care
Inherent
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in General Nursing
Surgical experience
Registration to practice as a Registered Nurse with NMCB
Minimum of five years experience as a practicing Nurse
Computer literacy
