This
full time, 12 month fixed term contract position is responsible for ensuring
the effective and efficient marketing and promotion of Blue Knot Foundation’s
activities, events and services including its education and training program
and national day.

DUTIES
& RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing
  • Develop
    annual marketing and communications strategy (in line with strategic
    priorities) to raise profile of organisation and services to optimise
    visibility, impact, reach and/or revenue
  • Develop
    and implement marketing plans with regular reporting against agreed KPIs
    re budget, timelines, objectives across training, services, events,
    fundraising
  • Undertake
    targeted market research to monitor market conditions, including
    competitor analysis, recommending optimal market segments for campaigns
  • Identify
    and develop campaigns in consultation with key stakeholders – concepts,
    briefs, graphic design to build organisation’s activities and impact
  • Write
    and edit marketing material and promotional copy as required
Communications
  • Develop
    fit-for-purpose branded material including printed, e- communications,
    e-newsletters, social media and web-based
  • Manage,
    track and report on external stakeholder communications including
    formatting and distribution of e-newsletters, training, services, and
    events
  • Manage,
    enhance, monitor and report on website look, feel, content and traffic
    including relationship with relevant external providers
  • Develop,
    implement and monitor sensitive social media strategy to optimise
    organisation’s credibility, presence and reach, including reporting on
    metrics
Operational
& Financial Management
  • Optimise
    systems, policies, procedures and metrics to manage and report on
    marketing and communications performance
  • Develop
    and manage marketing budget/s for approved initiatives, training, services
    and events
SELECTION
CRITERIA
Essential
  • Demonstrated
    skills in effective marketing, communications, design and/or promotions
  • Highly
    developed verbal, written and interpersonal and design skills with strong
    attention to detail and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
    with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated
    skills, knowledge and experience in optimising social networking channels
    and social media platforms
  • Demonstrated
    skills and experience in managing websites, including monitoring
    performance and trends with good knowledge of Google AdWords, SEO
  • Ability
    to work as team member as well as independently, and possess a high level
    of organisational skills, initiative, innovation and professionalism in
    the workplace
  • Advanced
    computer literacy, IT, editing, CMS database, design and publishing skills
  • Commitment
    to quality, innovation and continuous improvement
Desirable
  • Experience
    working in not-for-profit organisations
  • Relevant
    tertiary qualifications
