Bilingual Inside Sales Representative
(Drug and Therapeutics Reference Software)
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for growing and developing a base of independent accounts, presenting CPhA’s Digital Publishing Solutions’ e-products to prospective clients, and closing business via telephone sales.
This position is a one year contract.
Major Duties:
• Identify sales and new business opportunities.
• Call prospective clients and inform them of our e-products and the associated benefits.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to manager.
• Work may require occasional overnight and weekend travel.
Qualifications:
* Bilingual; ability to effectively write and speak in both official languages
* Three years experience with telephone-based sales
* Experience with consultative sales
* Proven track record of achieving quota based objectives
* Proven track record in sales with special attention on telephone-based sales
* Successful experience prospecting and qualifying complex sales involving multiple decision makers
* Pharmacy-related or software industry experience is an asset
* Ability to build a sales pipeline to increase revenue
* Strong client management skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Experience with solution-based selling methods
* Superior communication (written and oral) and analytical skills
* Proficiency with MS Office applications and internet based toolsets
* University degree in business, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
