firm & role

This
CBD based accounting firm is currently seeking to recruit a accountant
with 2 to 4 years tax and business services experience. Working as a member
of a small team (the firm has a total staff of around 20) you will look after a
portfolio of clients. If you enjoy client contact and interaction this is a
particularly attractive position – the partners encourage all of
their accountants (even at the more junior level) to be ‘hands-on’ when it
comes to clients.

In
the role, you will report to a senior accountant and will be responsible
for working on tax compliance and advisory matters for a variety of SME
clients.

Required
experience

In
order to be suitable you will:

possess
2-4 years public practice experience in business services and tax (we
are unable to consider candidates who do not possess this experience)
have
completed your Accounting degree, and be part way through your CA/CPA, or
be keen to commence CA/CPA study
have
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
