The
Belgian Red Cross has recently begun providing technical and financial support
to Malawi Red Cross Society (MRCS) in the implementation of an ECHO funded DRR
project in Malawi. The project is being implemented in three districts in the
southern regions of Malawi.

To assist
MRCS in financial reporting, a Financial Consultant will be hired to work on
these specific tasks:

1. Follow up recommendations and
action points from financial missions of BRC;

2. Daily report to the BRC Country

3. Ensure donor compliance and audit
proof project administration. All MRCS supporting documents and subcontractors
project financial files are completed in line with the EU and ECHO
requirements;

4. Consolidation of the financial
report in the Back-donor format (operational actual costs MRCS and BRC) and
coherence with the narrative report;

analysis of the financial statement;

The
Financial Consultant must meet the following profile, experience, skills and
knowledge:

relevant qualification in accountancy;

management, accounting and control;

3. Experience in subsidy management,
