The following
position has become available within Aveng Moolmans:

POSITION:
TECHNICAL TRAINER – HEAVY EARTHMOVING EQ

UIPMENT

Key performance
areas (duties & responsibilities):

  • Conducts
    specialised theoretical and practical mechanical training for the Service
    and maintenance teams on various heavy earthmoving equipment including
    face shovels, dump trucks, dozers, graders and drill rigs etc.
  • Conducts
    competency assessments on service and maintenance teams
  • Coordinates
    Apprenticeship programme
  • Coaches
    apprentices and or arrange for such
  • Compiles
    training programmes
  • Conducts
    audits on servicing and maintenance systems and address deviations.
  • Arranges
    training and workshops for Artisans and other employees

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • National
    Craft Certificate in Heavy Plant Mechanics or equivalent
  • Registered
    as Trainer and Assessor by Botswana Training Authority

Experience:

  • 10 – 15
    years’ experience as a Mechanic and having worked on Komatsu, Caterpillar,
    Sandvik and Terex heavy earthmoving equipment operating in a mining
    environment
  • 2 years
    as a Trainer
