Our client is a market leader in power supply development and holds the largest range of Power Electronic equipment in Australia and New Zealand. The product range includes Open Frame & Enclosed AC/DC Power Supply, DC/DC Converters, DC-DC Power Modules, External Power Supply, Battery Chargers and Systems, AC/DC DIN Rail Mountable, Security Power Supply, Medical Power Supply, Military Power Supply, Railway Converters, Laboratory Power Supply, Telecoms/Radio Communications, Euro Cassette Power Supply and Inverters. The company also offers customised power supply solutions to customers’ specifications.
Reporting to the CEO, they seek a motivated Sales Representative with proven, specialist Power Supply experience and Engineering background to take care of their sales in Victoria.
Based out of their Victorian office in Ferntree Gully, the role is focused on developing and expanding the co’s sales network across the state.
Your tasks will be varied and interesting and include eg : manage and expanding sales in Victoria ; working to monthly budget and maximise revenue growth ; develop new business opportunities ; travel to customer locations as required;; coordinate sales support and conduct competitor / market surveys as required.
50% of the sales from the catalogued range and 50% will come from special Design to meet client specific needs,
A motivated self-starter who can work autonomously, you will ideally demonstrate :
Good Power Supply Technical knowledge & experience
Engineering background
Proven track-record of sales success
Sound level of business acumen
Results and action driven approach
Good People & relationship-building skills
Can work autonomously
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering/Electrical preferred.
A background in Telecom advantageous.
