Associated Fund Administrators (AFA) Botswana (PTY) LTD, a
company involved in the administration of medical aid schemes, invites
applications from suitably qualified persons, preferably of Botswana citizens
for the above position.
Main
purpose of the job
Reporting directly to the IT Systems and Business
Intelligence Analyst, the successful applicant will maintain existing com
puter
systems and develop new systems in consultation with management and end users
to ensure optimum utilisation of all available systems.
Qualifications,
Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications,
experience and competencies:
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 2-3 years technical experience in an Information
Technology field
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of the Data storage structures
• Knowledge and application of the System Development Life
Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
• SQL Report writing
• Demonstrate customer focus and team work
