Aspendale Clinic Part-Time Registered Nurse Job Vacancy in Australia


Aspendale Clinic is currently recruiting a
permanent, part-time (Division 1) Registered Nurse.
We are a busy medical practice supporting 8
Doctors, 1 Registered Nurse, 1 Enrolled Nurse, Medical Students (rotational)
and 1 Back In Motion Physiotherapist. We also have a Healthscope Pathology
laboratory on site.
Due to growth of the Clinic, we are looking to
take on a further member of our nursing team.  In 2010, the Clinic went
through a major renovation of the premises, which has provided us with a
modern,

comfortable working environment which has helped to further
develop our already thriving medical practice.  In addition,
we have recently completed a renovation of our treatment room which
now has one patient bed with lots of modern equipment and one nurses
consulting room. Please see below the required working hours for this position:

15 hours per week:
MONDAY          8.30am
– 1.30pm
WEDNESDAY    8.30am – 1.30pm
FRIDAY           
8.30am – 1.30pm
* Availability to cover annual and sick leave
of other nursing staff is essential.

  • Treatment Room Management
  • Sterilisation
  • Stock Ordering
  • Teaching of students
    (student doctors & student nurses)
  • Assistance with audits
  • Assistance with accreditation
*Please note that some of the above nursing
requirements involve administration
Position Requirements:
  • Current Registration (essential)
  • Computer literacy (essential as the Practice
    is fully computerised)
  • Previous experience within a General Practice
    setting (desired but not essential)
  • You must have good written and spoken English
    language
  • You will have the ability and desire to learn
    new activities and processes (essential)
  •  You will be proactive and capable of
    working efficiently with limited direction (essential)
