physically fit and would enjoy volunteering and working with us this may be your opportunity to experience living, traveling and working in the Arctic for a few months or longer.
This position involves helping our team with the training and care of our beautiful huskies on a daily basis. In addition to volunteering your time with the dogs we are looking for someone who would be able to do a variety of handy jobs such as yard work, helping with light maintenance, painting projects, cleaning and preparing vehicles for rental and a host of other practical duties related to the business. A driver’s license may also be required.
Applicants must be friendly, clean, neat and tidy in appearance, drug-free, non-drinkers/ smokers and must be flexible and have a positive outlook on life. A passion for nature and outdoor activities is highly desirable as that is a big focus here at the Arctic Chalet.
This position is available immediately or as soon as possible. We are offering free accommodations, a monthly stipend of $1000 and we will do all we can to give you a great northern experience.
