Responsibilities:
• Review client files regularly, analyze and identify scope of coverage required and check adequacy of existing coverage.
• Independently respond to inquiries, correspondence and prepare appropriate draft responses for the Manager.
• Follow up with insurers on policy documents, check policy, notify insurer of any discrepancies, and follow up on their amendment.
• Ensure quotations, memorandum of insurance and billings are correct and complete.
• Follow up with clients on premium collection.
• Make clients aware of the premium warranty due date and the cash-before-cover (CBC) regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures, and insurance regulatory requirements at all times.
• Review client’s claims status regularly and assist in handling claims where necessary.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Insurance, Business Studies or equivalent.
• At least 3 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Knowledge in the insurance industry and insurance broking operations are required for this post.
• Good communication and writing skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Good presentation skills, problem solving approach and ability to manage internal and external relationships.
