Job Description
The successful candidate will report to the Community Development Superintendent-Health. She/he will assist with the coordination of all health interventions at the workplace and in the near mine communities, employees and other stakeholders.
Essential Duties:
• Educate and counsel employees and contractors on STIs/HIV/AIDS/TB/Malaria as well as promote employee well being
• Educate employees and contractors about proper use of condoms/bed net use according to a scheduled program and informal discussions
• Support the planning and training of workplace and community based volunteers
• Collect, input and analyze data from Peer Educators/Community Based agents’ activity
• Liaise with the Learning and Development department to conduct inductions and safety meetings on STIs/HIV/AIDS

Qualifications
• A degree in Nursing/Public Health or in the Social Science with 5 years post qualification experience
• Good counseling, analytical, communication, community relations skills
• Extensive experience in dealing with people in a cross-cultural environment
• Ability to be empathetic to sensitive community issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, a must
• Must be fluent in Twi and English and have a good understanding of local culture
