Job Description;
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and
delivery activities
• To enter all the d
elivery notes for all
items into SAP
• Inspect all the returned containers and
report any damages
• Control demurrage by issuing containers
using the LIFO or FIFO method
• Enter all outgoing delivery details into
the system by Bill of Lading
• Assist in reconciling customer accounts
• Coordinate with the transporter to ensure
that they plan and organize the movement of goods by ensuring that you have
enough trucks whenever needed.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet
warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and work flow.
• Interpreting company policies to workers
and enforcing safety regulations.
• To recommend measures to improve quality of
service, increasing efficiency of department and work crew and equipment
performance.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations
• Gather reports from different departments,
compile and send it to your supervisor
• Conduct regular meetings to ensure that
there is enough communication
• Perform any other jobs as may be assigned
from time to time
Skills and competencies:
– A bachelor’s degree in Warehouse Management
– Conversant in Warehouse Management System
– 3 years or more experience in related field
– Excellent Management skills
– Analytical and detail oriented
– Strong written and verbal communication
skills.
– Good communication skills to deal with
customers and managers alike
– Even temperament to deal with difficult
customers
– Should be good at multi-tasking
– Strong analytical skills.
– Ability to work effectively in team
environment.
