MAINTENANCE POSITION
Summary
We
are looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform routine and
extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on AUCA
buildings and mechanical equipment. Performs minor and major repair of all
buildings and equipment. (Major repairs are performed under the supervision of
licensed maintenance workers.)

ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. Must also
possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Maintenance
worker is responsible for maintenance and repair work for buildings and job
sites like offices, apartment complexes, and schools.  Keeping things
running and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.
Responsibilities
  1. Inspects
    assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary
    to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
  2. Completes
    daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and
    equipment maintenance procedures
  3. Repairs
    various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances,
    office equipment, etc.
  4. Reports
    any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as
    appropriate
  5. Participates
    in general cleaning, painting, and repair work.
  6. Uses
    hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and
    maintaining grounds and walks.
  7. Conducting
    routine inspections of premises and equipment.
  8. Performing
    preventative maintenance.
  9. Handling
    basic repairs and maintenance.
  10. Overseeing
    contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
  11. Collaborate
    with workers and other professionals during renovations
  12. Other
    duties and task as assigned by Supervisor
Requirements
  1. :
    University degree in construction /Civil Engineering ( A0)
  2. Excellent
    spoken and written English
  3. Ability
    to plan, organize and carry out a wide variety of building repairs.
  4. Ability
    to plan and maintain a budget and accurate records.
  5. Ability
    to prepare written reports and correspondence in English.
  6. Proven
    maintenance experience
  7. Ability
    to read technical manuals and drawings
  8. Very
    good communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Related
    degree from a technical college.
  10. Skilled
    in the use of hand and power tools.
  11. Experience
    with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  12. Experience
    performing routine maintenance.
  13. Strong
    organizational and follow up skills.
  14. Ability
    to maintain focus while working individually.
  15. Strong
    time management skills.
