Summary:
Take full responsibility for the accurate and efficient production and analysis of the management information for the company.
Description:
• Prepare sales and gross profit analysis reports – detailed by product, category, depot and country; and indicating actual vis a vis. budgeted results.
• Highlight under performing sales and gross profit factors to management.
• Product costing and maintenance of the BOMs (Bill of Materials) on the ERP system.
• Ongoing review of the BOMs against actual costs and projected latest costs.
• Prepare product costing for new products and anticipated pricing adjustments.
• Calculate the allocation of general shared costs to unit profit and loss.
• Calculate the conversion and direct selling costs; and the allocation and review of the same.
• Ensure continuous updating of the HLR (Higher Level Reporting) Model – in detail.
• Prepare monthly management reports and the relevant commentary and comparison to budget.
• Prepare of the quarterly board pack.
• Analyze performance in terms of the MTS (Medium Term Strategy) and reporting thereof.
• Prepare the annual budget.
• ERP Optimisation – ensuring the generation of accurate and efficient reporting and thereby minimizing manual input.
• Ad-hoc Project Work as dictated by the business requirements.
Requirements:
• A degree in Commerce specializing in Accounting from a recognized university.
• Professional qualifications i.e. ACCA, CPA (K) or CIMA.
• Five years relevant experience within the FMCG sector.
• Good planning and analytical skills.
