Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in a hands on leadership role in Landscaping/Construction Industries within Canada or the United States
– high-rise buildings, residential and commercial properties
– hardscaping installation (pavers, natural stone, aggregate, interlock, etc.)
– demolition, excavation, soil grading/leveling
– softscaping (clean-ups, cultivating/aerating, pruning/shaping/dead-heading, organic fertilizing, staking/trellising, planting, mulching, burlapping, integrated pest management, etc.)
• Strong communication skills and experience in delegation and instruction of team members, daily reporting to office staff, sales and client service — any applicants who do not demonstrate this quality effectively will be eliminated from consideration as they will be unable to handle the demands of the position
• Able to manage a project within a budget with a familiarity of profit and loss tracking
• Ability to envision a blueprint, read AutoCAD designs and ensure appropriate translation of architectural plans onto the landscape
• G driver’s license
