Applicants must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s
Degree in Social Sciences or related development field from a recognised University
and at least 5 yrs post-qualification experience in development management,
Knowledge of participatory methods and processes such as Reflect, STAR,
Stepping Stones, Participatory Vulnerability Analysis and others is essential,
Applicant should also have a good understanding of Human Rights Based
Approaches to development, adequate knowledge in Women’s Rights, Governance,
HIV and AIDS, Education and Resilience and Climate Change, Passion for
advancing Women’s rights is a MUST!

mechanism, Ensuring mainstreaming and a focus on women’s rights, Mobilising and
building of people’s movements, Managing LRP resources including finances,
Managing Accountability, Learning and Planning Systems (ALPS) related
accountability which includes Programme appraisal, programme planning, local
rights programme strategy development, programme implementation, monitoring and
evaluation, impact assessment)
