Summary
  • The

    representation, coordination and contractual requirements.
Task
and Responsibilities
  • Finalizing
    and managing the update and implementation of the project(s) Detailed
    Implementation Plan (DIP).
  • Developing
    detailed monthly/weekly implementation plans for your staff in order to
    achieve the activities in the PIP.
  • Managing
    the Project(s) Scope Documents (PSDs) such as Project Procurement plan,
    Monitoring and evaluation plan, Work Breakdown Structure, etc. as well as
    ensuring regular update of these documents in order to maintain a strong

Requirements
The Successful Candidate Will:
  • Have
    at least a master’s degree in project management, social sciences,
    health/nutrition, development or other related field with proven
    multi-sector project cycle management experience at a senior level for at
    least 2 years in an INGO.
  • Have
    demonstrated experience in financial management and preparation of budgets
    for programming as well as advisory experience in managing multiple
    projects.
  • Be
    conversant with ECHO, EU, OFDA and/or DFID reporting and regulations.
  • Have
    experience in managing medium to large-sized teams.
  • Have
    excellent written and spoken English with proficient in MS Office

Base
Finance and Administrative Officer

Summary
  • The
    Base Finance and Administrative Officer will be based in Bade, Yobe state
    and report to the Area Project Manager. He/she will manage the cash/bank
    and the accountancy of the base, budget maintenance, cash forecast and
    cash flow.
  • The
    Finance and Admin Officer will also provide administrative support to the
    HR department in various aspects of the recruitment process as well as
    staff training and development.
Responsibilities
The task and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:
  • Ensure
    bank books & cash book are closed, reconciled & sent to capital on
    monthly basis together with the bank reconciliation & cash counts.
  • Ensure
    compliance with the mission’s procurement procedure.
  • Verify
    & cross check all base monthly financial documents are correctly
    allocated & completed as per Action Against Hunger Archiving

  • Archive
    financial files, keep copies at the base & send original to capital on

  • Maintain

  • The

The
key tasks and responsibilities for this role includes but not limited to:
  • Ensuring
    KitLogV3.3 procedures are followed in regards to supply chain including

  • Providing
    technical support in planning, implementation and monitoring of key IYCF
    interventions by working closely with State authorities as well as the ACF
    State technical advisor and nutrition program manager.
  • Providing
    technical support in the design and implementation of operational research
    to identify barriers and facilitators of optimal breastfeeding and
    complimentary feeding practices.
  • Working
    closely with LGA TA and staff at health facilities to establish, supervise
    and to provide strong follow up of mother support groups to promote

  • The
    Local Government Area Technical Advisors will be based in

  • He/she
    will support the assigned local government area (LGA) in nutrition program
    planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

    will ensure free flow of information and support coordination of
    activities between Action Against Hunger, its government counterparts and
    other partners.
  • The
    Local Government Area Technical Advisor will also provide technical
    support to the coordination of micro nutrient supplementation and Maternal
    New Born and Child Health (MNCH) including strengthening the technical and
    advocacy capacity at the LGA level.
Key
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Providing
    technical support in planning, implementation and monitoring of key IYCF
    interventions by working closely with the nutrition focal persons (NFP)
    and MCH expert at LGA level.
  • Working
    closely with NFP to support operational researches to identify barriers

Summary
  • The
    Nutrition CMAM Officer will be based in Bade, Yobe State and work under

    will also track the progress of key indicators and provide timely report.
Responsibilities
The task and responsibilities for this position includes but are not limited
to;
  • Supporting
    the M&E team in the pilot data collection and integration of findings
    by providing feedback to the M & E Deputy Project Manager.
  • Reviewing
    and developing M & E systems for new projects, lead on the
    implementation of qualitative and participatory tools, including focus
    group discussions.
