Our client is one of the premier automotive groups; they are the one-stop performance centre offering all ranges of services for luxury and high performance vehicles from sales to servicing.
With a focused business portfolio and dedicated workforce, they are confident of moving ahead and maintaining a strong presence in the automotive market.
They have 2 Managerial positions to be filled: 1) Workshop Operations Manager and 2) Sales & Marketing Manager. Both Managers will be working closely together to support the Director.
You are required to have working knowledge with luxury cars like Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce and Volkswagen.
Position 1: Workshop Operations Manager
Overview:
You will be the overall in charge for the Workshop Operations. You need to possess hands-on technical analysis skills in automobile repairs, upgrades and enhancement of high end continental cars. You will be overseeing the Technicians and Store Assistant to ensure objective of achieving customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible and ensure the quality of service and repair work performed by the team
• Responsible for optimum workshop efficiency, productivity and utilization usage for workshop staff.
• Ensure high quality service is rendered for tuning, maintenance, repair and automotive upgrading
• Oversee stock control over parts and materials used by the workshop
• Ensure that equipment used in the workshop is continuously upgraded and improved
• Encouraging technician to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training on new products and new technology
• Sort out problem car in the very first instance
• Investigate into product problems in depth and immediately feed all useful information to the Technicians to push for solution
• Conduct periodical review of the performance of individual staff (Especially key staff) to ensure that the work attitudes and work performance meet the company’s objectives
• Take measures to improve results, such as motivating workshop personnel, streamlining the flow of work and working conditions
• Responsible for managing, training, retention and work performance of the employees.
• Responsible and maintain for workshop environment meet Work, Safety & Health practices
• Ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of workshop area at all times
Requirements:
• Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, Business Management or relevant qualifications
• Min 5 years of supervisory / managerial experience in automotive industry
• Self-starter with strong technical knowledge and good people management skills
• Strong Technical Experience in the Business Development of luxury cars like Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Volkswagen
• Excellent problem solving skills

Position 2: Sales & Marketing Manager
Overview:
You will be the overall in charge for the Business Development, Sales and Marketing activities to ensure profit margin set out by the Management is achieved. You will be overseeing the BD Exec, Accounts Exec and Admin Assistant to ensure objective of achieving customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible in day to day operational function and strategic planning to maximize revenue and profitability
• Addressing customer complaint and resolving issue raising from product deficiency and workmanship of the technician
• Responsible for recruiting of employment and inculcate development of staff’s good practices under his care.
• Responsible for motivating and developing a team of customer service personnel towards on a target performance and company goal
• Responsible for managing, training, retention and work performance of the employees.
• Oversee stock control over parts and materials used by the workshop
• Ensure billing and collections are properly monitored
• Oversees marketing efforts to promote the Company’s brand and services amongst high end clients
• Offers maintenance and engine upgrading service packages to owners of high end European automobiles
• Networks with high net worth individuals and European cars representatives to build database of customers.
• Ensures that new business is brought into the Company on a regular basis in order to meet KPIs set by the Management.
• Readies all marketing and promotion materials for marketing and business development efforts.
• Identify products for Business Development
• Undertake any other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, Business Management or relevant qualifications
• Min 5 years of supervisory / managerial experience in automotive industry
• Self-starter with strong technical knowledge and good people management skills
• Strong in Leadership and Organizing Abilities
• Strong in controls over inventory movements and purchasing
• Experience in the Business Development of luxury cars like Audi, Bentley, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes, Mini, Porsche, Rolls Royce, Volkswagen will be an advantage
• Possess a valid class 3 driving licence
• Excellent problem solving skills
