Accounts Payable Assistant Job Vacancy in Edinburgh

Hays client a leading blue chip employer in Edinburgh is looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger clerk on a temporary basis. As a member of the accounts payable team you will be responsible for processing payments and related administration, including building relationships with internal and external suppliers.

Key Skills:
– Processing invoices and checking information prior to payments
– Administration and data input of accounts payable transactions
– Reconciliation of statements
– Maintain details and input expense claims/invoices and money transfer payments,
– Building and maintaining data held on the system

To be successful candidates must have the following:
– Experience working in busy environment to meet tight deadlines.
– Experience working in a customer focused environment – involving handling difficult queries effectively, identifying issues’ and escalating where appropriate
