Our partner lends
equipment to small businesses in Tanzania in order to help create jobs and
increase the income of local people.
A volunteer accountant
is required to:
- Assist
with external reporting requirements, including investor reporting,
reporting to key grant makers. - Assist
to refine internal controls and accounting systems - Work
with the Finance Director and Training Manager to develop a financial
management programme for customers, including course curricula, liaising
with external providers and potentially assisting to develop a
mobile-based accounting software for customers - Train
Tanzanian nationals in proper accounting practice, bookkeeping and
internal controls
Requirements:
- Meet
deadlines and work independently - 3 to 4
years of experience in accounting with experience with internal controls
and reporting
Accommodation and a
small stipend to cover living costs will be provided
