Abi Zonal Agricultural Research and Development Institute is one of the Public Agricultural Research Institutes established by the National Agricultural Research Act 2005 with a mandate to conduct applied and adaptive agricultural research in the West Nile Agro Ecological Zone under the policy guidance of the National Agricultural Research Organization (NARO).

Qualifications and Experience.
• Diploma in Veterinary Science or equivalent qualifications
• Two years relevant experience gained from a reputable organization
• Knowledge of livestock, insects and other micro organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment
