Abstract
This
case study is on tuberculosis, it aims at finding out the signs and symptoms,
complication and management and also to provide adequate health education to
the general public. Tuberculosis is caused by bacteria – mycobacterium
tuberculosis. The infection is airborne and it is spread by inhalation of
infected droplet. The incidence varies widely by country, age, race, sex,
sexual, social and economic status. The management of the disease in this case
study was done according to standing order. Home visits were carried out
appropriate, and problems detected were solved accordingly. Recommendations
were also made on the importance of mass health education of the people in
various communities and improvement on the socio-economic condition of the
masses in respect of shelter, environment and nutrition.
