My client is an established and leading player in the Australian Electrical Industry, manufacturing & supplying top quality industrial electrical products through to Electrical Contractors, Electrical Wholesalers, OEM’s & Switchboard Manufacturers. With almost 50 years of existence in the Australian Market place and more than a century worldwide, they are an iconic & entrenched leading name in the electrical industry on a global scale.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your prime responsibility in this role is to undertake technical work such as drawing up quotes based on information supplied by customer sales. You will maintain your knowledge of all products and assist in defining customer’s requirements.
• Preparing & processing quotes
• Co ordinate manufacturing
• Liaise with customers
• Convert line drawings & diagrams to electrical products accurately.
• Liaise with manufacturing during process to ensure smooth transition of sales orders. into the manufacturing process.
• Analyse blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products, project and services.
• Provide technical customer support
CANDIDATE
• Electrical Engineering/ Trade background
• Broad knowledge of distribution boards & switchboards
• Switchboard Estimation Experience or Engineering Graduate
• Basic computer skills
• Read & interpret electrical drawings & diagrams
• Good communication skills
• Motivated, Enthusiastic & Career focused
REWARDS
The successful applicant will receive a base salary of $45,000 – $55,000 plus super, as well as the opportunity to establish yourself with a Multinational Leader in the Electrical Game!!!!!
