A Permanent opportunity exists within the IT division of a global organisation for a customer focussed IT Service Delivery Manager to seek out and deliver a range of projects and managed technology services.
As the focal point of contact for service assurance you will play an active role focussing proactively on continuous business and technology improvement and set a strong example to a talented team.
Proactive internal (senior stakeholders) and external (vendors) communication and management are a key part of the role, as is the ability to effectively sell the benefits of technology within the organiation.
This role is varied and challenging and will see you play a key role as both negotiator and influencer within the business. You will possess a strong financial awareness of the impact of technology services and their ability to drive ROI throughout the organisation.
This role requires the successful candidate to have an in-depth understanding of how supplier organisations work with a thorough understanding of how business critical activities are impacted by IT services. The key to this role will be your appreciation and delivery of consistently high customer satisfaction.
Your communication skills will need to be first class as you will be expected to build strong lasting relationships with the clients external suppliers so that issues are resolved in line with the priorities of the business.
It will be your responsibility to monitor and feedback on service performance and identify areas for improvement.
Your background should incorporate 5 years + experience in a customer facing IT Service Management and ITIL framework environment.
In terms of your technical experience a broad understanding of IT is required, with a particular focus on enterprise infrastructure management.
If you think strategically, act decisively, work collaboratively and have a passion for delivering high-end “best of breed” customer service, this role will offer the lot.
It is highly desirable that you have worked in a similar role within a financial services organisation though not essential. Experience working with LAN and WAN technologies along with HEAT ticketing systems would also be seen as advantageous.
