The Role
The Payroll Coordinator plays a key role in managing the delivery of our payroll and time & attendance solution plus guaranteeing clients constantly receive an exceptional payroll service. More specifically this role involves:

• Coordinating daily payroll administration with 100% accuracy
• Assisting the Payroll Manager manage the efficiency and accuracy of our Payroll Officers
• Auditing payrolls and reports for accuracy
• Invoicing and providing reports to clients
• Assisting with payroll tax, superannuation and end-of-year processes
• Handling client and employee enquiries within 24hrs and building strong relationships
• Onboarding new clients and ensure records are maintained and current
• Training team members and new clients in our systems and
• Other duties as required.

The Person
Our team is our core strength which is why we are looking for someone with the following attributes and skills:
• 3+ years payroll experience ideally within a bureau-style payroll business
• Experience in operating Attache and/or MYOB preferred
• Experience with an automated time and attendance system preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• A sound mathematical background with the ability to apply concepts such as formulas and percentages
• Problem solving skills
• Experience in compiling data into reports
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to cope under pressure

In addition the successful applicant will be a team player with a friendly and can-do attitude and the ability to build strong working relationships. Clear communication skills and an internal drive to work hard and to seek continual improvement is also important.
