An exciting role for an SAP Operations Support and Transition Lead has arisen with a key Client, based in the Gold Coast. The role will report to the Chief Information Officer for general direction, performance management and to ensure alignment with the defined methodologies, standards, processes and tools.
JOB SCOPE:
To assist in the continued Execution of the organisation transition from legacy centric to a SAP centric landscape across multiple releases including alignment of existing staff to roles, sourcing of staff (as appropriate) and integration with existing processes.
Please note that this position is not cutover, implementation or data migration focused.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:
• Liaise with various members of the Program Management team to ensure smooth transition from the program to the operational areas. This involves communicating with various BAU and business stakeholders as well as the project team.
• Ensure that appropriate governance and change processes are followed in liaison with the program team for any changes requested and required in the Production environment and initiated from within the program in the context of future releases.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The individual must have a strong business acumen and senior management presence, and the ability to lead teams through a large deployment where, although SAP is the core application, SAP is shared with a significant number of other technologies that also need to be successfully transitioned. The individual needs to have the ability and skills to achieve the required outcomes in a complex stakeholder environment where the direct reporting relationships may not exist.
You will have solid experience with Post Go-Live SAP support and operations professional with at least 10 years of experience, with proven experience of at least 3 SAP implementation projects, transitioning the capability and deliverables to BAU.
• Demonstrated experience and skills in managing various aspects of the enterprise SAP solution in a Post Go-Live operational environment
• Demonstrated experience in the deployment of multiple large SAP enabled business changes in a multi technology environment where, although SAP is the core, SAP is shared with a number of other critical technologies that also need to be managed through the full transition lifecycle.
