What does the job involve?
These multiple graduate roles will be an integral part of the Thales ICT
Competence Centre, and will see you responsible for ICT support activities to
provide new and upgraded solutions for Thales customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Under supervision, analyze requirements,
design, implement, test and support ICT products and solutions - Keep abreast of technology developments and
provide recommendations and advice on technology selection - Present and demonstrate solutions to Thales
customers - Attend and participate in technical reviews
(both internal and external) - Effectively communicate with internal and
external stakeholders across all level of management responsibility as
required.
Domain who designs, integrates, and supports C4ISR systems. Their primary
customer at the moment is the Australian Department of Defence.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in a range of ICT technologies,
including infrastructure servers, storage, mobility, voice and data
communication technologies, and have experience in ICT hardware, network and
operating systems. They will also have clear and concise technical writing
skills.
Technical proficiency in Microsoft products and technologies, Unix and/or Open
Source stack would be an advantage.

Graduate Program Requirements
To be considered for the position, you will have:
- An accredited professional Information and
Communication Technology Degree such as Information Technology,
Information Systems, Computer Science or Software Development with a
Credit average - Able to undertake occasional short term
domestic and international travel in support of project and bid activities - Ability to work independently and manage
competing priorities - Mandatory Australian citizenship, (to be able
to gain an Australian Defence Security Clearance).
You must be able to obtain an Australian Security Clearance
A police check and medical are required for this role
