members and their families to find a housing solution; manages and maintains a
large property portfolio, develops land and constructs and acquires properties
to meet Defence housing demands.
The Housing Team is responsible for management of housing services including
setting the agenda for customer service and innovation, compliance and
monitoring, setting policy and direction and developing and delivering
training.
As a Housing Consultant, you are responsible for providing Defence members with
an appropriate housing solution that is consistent with their entitlement as
established by D
efence policies and guidelines. This role provides members with
information about properties and amenities to support their decision-making
with relation to housing options.
You will work in a time-critical environment and there is a strong emphasis on
the achievement of established performance standards within set timeframes.
To be successful in this role you will have exceptional customer service
skills, an awareness of DHA and Defence policies and guidelines and knowledge
of DHA’s housing products, as well as the ability to work in a structured,
contemporary contact centre environment.

Salary from: $55,485 – $61,480 plus superannuation and potential bonus.
