Maintenance Officer/Coordinator Job Vacancy in AUstralia

Shopping Centres – Excellent Opportunity
One of Gough Recruitment’s highly regarded national
clients currently require the services of an experienced Maintenance
Officer/Coordinator to work ‘hands-on’ managing contractors, being the handyman
and the day to day point of call for all maintenance works at this iconic site.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will be required to keep the
presentation of the centre at a high standard and be across all static built
form disciplines including electrical, HVAC, cleaning, building, gardening and
have strong customer service skills dealing with tenants and customers. Being
the ultimate handyman where you are the go to guy and Mr Fix it for the entire
complex.

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Trade or Engineering qualifications
  • Preferable to have Shopping Centre Experience
    in a similar role  as a handy man or maintenance officer/coordinator or
    worked in maintenance positions with major buildings
  • Great contractor management
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal
    skills
  • Great team player and can also be trusted to
    work autonomously

growth into facilities management.
