THE POSITION
As the leading private, not for profit hospital and aged care group in Central
Queensland, Mercy Health & Aged Care is seeking to recruit a Registered
Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse – Operating Theatres for our facility in
Gladstone.
The position provides patient-centred nursing care in collaboration with other
health professionals and significant other to ensure safe, efficient and
effective management of the patient within the Operating Theatre Department.
This position is available to be filled by a Registered Nurse or Endorsed
Enrolled Nurse.
The role is located in our Operating Theatres and will be within the
perioperative areas of scrub, scout, anaesthetics and recovery.
Gladstone is a small but progressive facility with 3 Theatres which perform
general, orthopaedic, gynae/obstetric, ENT, eye, dental, endoscopy and plastic
surgery.
Only applications that meet the following criteria will be considered;
- have
registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
(AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
- have
previous nursing experience in an Operating Theatre environment.
- be
an Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident.
The appropriate salary will be dependent on the period of applicable prior
experience.
