major client side organisation is urgently seek
ing an experienced Rail Safety
Manager for an initial 12 month contract.
You will need to have extensive experience in working within the work health
and safety environment where you will be responsible for overseeing contractor
safety management plans.
Reporting directly to the project director you will have ultimate
responsibility for ensuring that each existing and new contractor working will
have the necessary safety compliance in working order.
To be considered for this role you will have a protection officer 4 ticket with
experience using the ticket.
If you come from a site based rail operations background this would be a major
advantage and would put you in a good position to undertake this role
successfully.
This contract is likely to be extended as the scope of projects expands through
the acquisition of existing and the development of new projects and
the likely remuneration is expected to be in the vicinity of $800 to $900
a day.
