Month Contract - Potential
for Permanency
in Cairns, this large government employer maintains, develops and constructs a
large volume and value of assets in Far North Queensland.
Reporting to an Assets Manager and supporting a Senior Asset Accountant, you
will assist in maintaining and developing the Fixed Asset Register. You will be
involved in assisting with month end asset reporting, improvin
g asset related
processes and controls and assisting with depreciation schedules and WIP
accounts. You will also assist the Senior Assets Accountant with annual and
quarterly asset budget reviews, re-valuations, depreciations and asset
maintenance.
For this position we are seeking a degree qualified Accountant with exposure
and interest in Asset Accounting. You will have demonstrated experience in data
collection, project analysis and financial reporting.
This position is available as a temporary contract for 2-3 months, however
candidates interested in a permanent role should also enquire. The salary is
circa $52-60K + Super.
