will work 9 hours per day and have every second Friday off as your RDO – a
great work/life balance.


The Role
As
an experienced Electrical Reliability Engineer your role will be to identify
and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or
business operations.  This broad primary role can be divided into three
smaller areas of responsibility:
  • Defect
    Elimination
  • Asset
    Maintenance Strategy
  • Life
    cycle asset management (LCAM)
Working
with the leadership team, you will help to develop and foster a culture that
strives to continuously improve safety, reliability and cost performance.
 Through coaching and mentoring operators, maintainers, Asset Management
professionals and practitioners on reliability and maintainability programs and
actively sharing knowledge, you will help drive continuous improvement
activities throughout the entire life cycle of plant assets.
This

The
Person
 
You
will have previous mining or heavy industry experience with a minimum of 5
years of electrical maintenance experience with focus in reliability discipline
and a degree in Electrical Engineering
Your
demonstrated knowledge and experience will include:
  • Strong
    background in using maintenance reliability methods i.e. defect
    elimination, asset criticality analysis, asset strategy development,
    condition monitoring, reliability modeling, operational readiness, Life
    Cycle Costing etc
  • Facilitation
    of Root cause analysis, problem solving and other analytical techniques to
    eliminate root causes and developing improvement action plan.
  • Interrogate
    the production delay & SAP database for equipment history in order to
    identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform
    asset failure investigations and Continuous Improvement projects through
    facilitation of site Defect Elimination Process.
  • Effective
    planning and project management
  • Strong
    understanding of Fixed Plant Equipment i.e. Crushers, Ball Mills ,
    Conveyors, Screens
  • Developing
    asset maintenance strategies using Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA)/
    RCM/PMO methodologies
  • Develop
    and Implement a successful predictive maintenance program through asset
    strategy optimisation process
  • Ability
    to lead and drive cultural change in a positive manner and influencing
    others on new concepts
  • Sound
    organizational skills, with the ability to priorities work accurately and
    to work with cross-functional teams effectively
  • Proven
    ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels
    and particularly with maintenance trades
