The Firm:
This Senior Level Legal Secretary role is a newly-created role due to
growth. This expanding multi=award winning National Law Firm has offices
across most States and continues to grow year on year. The firm is
recognised as being one of Australia’s leading Mid-Tiers and the General
Insurance Law Department boasts one of the largest, expanding teams in this
field.
The Role:
In this newly-created Senior Legal Secretary position you will provide
mentoring and support to 3 Junior Secretaries, whilst overseeing things and
ensuring the team runs smoothly. You’ll be supporting a great Partner,
Senior Associate and Lawyer in a relatively hands-on position including
preparing court documents, typing correspondence, putting together briefs,
liaising with Barristers, Courts, Clients etc, and arranging meetings, as well
as general administrative duties and working closely with the other Legal
Secretaries within the team.
Requirements:
this top Senior Level Role you will have good Insurance / Personal Injuries
Legal Secretary experience at a senior level. You’ll also have fast and
accurate typing skills, strong Microsoft Word experience and a basic knowledge
of the various Court jurisdictions.
