The Beaudeset Medical Centre Pharmacy
has a position available for an experienced registered pharmacist. The
current position is for a full-time manager level pharmacist. however other applicants
shall be considered.
The Pharmacy
The pharmacy is a professional community pharmacy in a regional Gold Coast
hinterland position, South of Brisbane. The Pharmacy is located one hour from
Broadbeach, Paradise Point, Brisbane and Ipswich.
It is co-located with a busy Medical Practice, Dentist, Pathology collection
site and Optometrist. The focus of the pharmacy is on professional
customer service. Counseling
and the provision of extra services are integral to the success of the pharmacy
as opposed to a discount model.
The position will be well supported by other professional staff, and a number
of qualified dispensary assistants. The majority of the staff have been
employed for in excess of five years with a number in excess of ten years
service.The pharmacy is modern in design and well provisioned with space,
references and hardware.
Our client base comprises loyal, friendly, regular repeat customers many of
whom have been customers for generations and often will have operated customer
accounts for 20 plus years.
We provide a community Webster
packing service and service a local nursing home. The preparation of
packs is performed by experienced Dispensary Assistants however maintaining the
profiles, checking of packs and liaising with Medical Practitioners, nursing
homes and carers is integral to the duties of the position. The ability
to complete HMRs and RMMRs are considered to be advantageous.
The Position
The successful applicant will generally be working under the supervision of the
Proprietor and with other experienced Pharmacists.
The position is available now
however notice periods will be able to be honored.
The hours are anticipated to be 38 hours per week which includes rostered
Saturday&Sunday mornings 8.30-12.00noon, but are negotiable dependent on
requirements. Some
flexibility is available if an applicant wishes to work 2-3 days due to
existing commitments.
Remuneration shall be dependent upon the level of experience of the successful
applicant. The pay
rate offered will be substantially better than current industry standards.
