About
the Job
This
is a unique chance to work with an organisation committed to keeping the
consumer (client participation) at the centre of all we do.
As
a Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership for a
customer-centred service.
This
includes:
  • Managing
    the delivery of the Care Coordination Pathway for consumers
  • Overseeing
    orientations and consumer support
  • Monitoring
    of consumer progress
  • Crisis
    intervention and the review of incidents
  • Recruiting,
    rostering, supervising staff
  • Develop,
    organise and run events, programs and activities that enhance consumer
    outcomes.
What

role assists RFT to deliver consumer-focused services. It requires someone with
enthusiasm, empathy, patience and resilience.
Successful
applicants will have (selection criteria);
  • Understanding
    of the mental health sector within Tasmania
  • Certificate
    IV in Mental Health, or equivalent qualifications and experience in mental
    health
  • Ability
    to apply the principles of recovery and client-centred delivery in the
    mental health sector
  • Previous
    experience managing a small program or leading a small team.
  • Ability
    to use IT for work related activities – internet, email, Office and case
    management software.
  • Effective
    verbal communication skills and the ability to write accurate and
    professional communications.
