Responsibilities: Working under the overall direction of the Chief of Party (COP) and in coordination and collaboration with project administrative, financial and contracts staff, the DCOP, Technical will have the primary responsibility of ensuring the timely provision and delivery of all required project technical deliverables to support the execution of the LARA project.
This will be achieved through the direct performance of tasks or supervision of designated staff who are assigned tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
Qualifications:
— Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in senior managerial level with previous work experience with land related issue is an asset;
–Minimum Masters degree in Land Administration, Agriculture or other relevant field;
–Prior DCOP experience on projects of similar complexity in Afghanistan, with an excellent understanding and knowledge of USAID and USG regulations, administration, management, reporting procedures and systems;
— Highly self-motivated and creative, collegial and professional;
–Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
–Strong interpersonal, analytical, writing and computer skills required;
–Fluent in English, and some knowledge of Dari or Pashto desired.
