Broadband Systems Corporation, Ltd (“BSC Ltd”) is a licensed Internet Service Provider (ISP) that has been incorporated under the laws and regulations of the Republic of Rwanda. The company is engaged in the business of providing advanced Information Communication Technology (“ICT”) services based on broadband connectivity.
In order to effectively accomplish its business objectives, BSC Ltd is looking for qualified and competent candidates to fill the following vacant position
Position: Logistic Officer
Key responsibilities
• Procurement of items from local suppliers or elsewhere as appropriate, as guided by the Procurement specialist.
• Daily company assets and stock management.
• Management of transporting supplies to and from the HQ and handling supply chain system in various company departments.
• Managing the fuel system, including the weekly and monthly transport analysis of the cost and efficiency as per the company standard Vehicle Log Book and Fleet summary formats.
• Supporting the technical team in terms of maintenance schedules for technical installations and Generator management.
• Determining operational requirements and specifications including reliability, maintainability and standardization for facilities, vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Preparing reports for approvals of quotations, maintaining inventory controls and inventory planning and produce the review of purchase during the month.
• Liaison with subcontractors for any other repairs, maintenance and assist the administration department in other related activities.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Information Technology, Engineering or any other relevant field.
• A well-developed knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in distribution management, materiel management, fuel management, contingency operations and vehicle management.
• The applicants must be fluent in English or French with a working knowledge of English.
• Proven competence in the use of computer software applications including spreadsheets and word-processing packages.
• Be a person of proven integrity, high motivation, innovation and a team player.
