Partners (Rwanda) ltd
is a newly established company in Rwanda that is focusing on investing in
agriculture industry. The organization is a wholly owned subsidiary of H2O
Venture Partners LLP, a United Kingdom based company.
We are looking at
engaging a Hydrologist consultant to provide the company with hydrology advice
for a project to be run in Rwanda.
Job
requirements:
• Working
knowledge of PPS25 and TAN15, undertaking sequential tests.
• Experience in preparing flood risk assessments for a range of developments.
• Drainage assessments (including appreciation of marshlands drainage system).
• Knowledge of hydraulic modeling.
• Consultancy experience in a flood risk role.
• Preparation of proposals.
• Good report writing and communication skills.
• Consultation, liaison and negotiation with the regulators.
• Client and Project Management.
Qualifications:
BS in Hydrology or related
field required. MS/MA in hydrology or related field preferred. Experience in
tropical region projects significant experience with hydraulic/hydrologic
investigations and calculations, with experience in project management and
staff supervision required. The successful candidates will be self-motivated
and have strong writing and communication skills.
