The School of
Geography at the University of Leeds is offering is offering a
number of partial or full-fee scholarships. Scholarships are
available for face-to-face programmes: MSc in Geographical Information Systems
and MSc in River Basin Dynamics & Management with GIS and for Online
Distance Learning programmes: MSc in Geographical Information Systems. The selection
criteria is based on both academic merit and volume of applications
for the Masters programmes. Deadline for applications is 01 May 2013.

Eligibility: Normal minimum requirement
is an upper second class Honours degree or equivalent in geography or a related
subject. However, many candidates are still in their final year of
undergraduate study when they first apply, in which case the School will
take note of your academic referee’s assessment of your abilities. Relevant
work experience is viewed positively and is taken into account particularly for
candidates whose first degree is slightly below their requirement.
