Rwanda Co-operative Agency (RCA) is a Public
Institution in charge of Promotion, Registration and Regulation of Cooperatives
in the Country. RCA would like to recruit interested and qualified (30)
District Cooperative coaches who will be assisting the cooperatives in
implementing their plans through building their capacities and focusing on
bridging the gaps in the identified areas of intervention according to the
specific needs:

3. Nature of employment: Fixed —Term Contract (7 Months).
4. Tasks to be accomplished
Specific tasks for the coaches include:
- Attend a two day working session led by the
management of RCA to establish common understanding and expectations of
RCA and Districts of the coaching program. Select needs identified in the
_situational analysis that can be addressed in the seven months. - Develop a work plan with clear milestones and
allocated responsibilities in collaboration with the cooperatives to
address the needs identified above. - Determine work modalities, responsibilities
and how to ensure accountability for both the coach and cooperatives and
sign a coaching agreement to this effect. - Coach cooperatives’ members in areas
identified in the assessment and adapt coaching as required in district
context.
The recommended areas to provide coaching shall

5. Qualification & Requirements
The suitable candidates must possess at least the
following:

- Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Economics,
Rural Development, Development Studies Community and Cooperative
Development, Business Administration, Management, Agro-Business and other
related fields with 5 years of experience; - Good knowledge of Cooperative’ law,
cooperative policy in Rwanda, National Agriculture Policy, EDPRS,
Decentralization Policy and others national strategies of poverty
reduction; - Demonstrated knowledge in Cooperative
management - Good analytical project development skills and
the ability to facilitate and guide Good communication and interpersonal
skills - Proficiency in written and spoken English and
Kinyarwanda is required and working knowledge of French would be an added
advantage. - Strong computer skills (Ms word, Ms excel ).
