Our
Client, a Tea company with presence in East Africa is looking to fill the
positions above; 
Purpose
of Job/Key objectives:

The
position of Programme Coordinator is primarily responsible for management of
 the Rwanda office and execution of logistical, communication and support
of other activities in Rwanda.
Responsibilities:
  • Position
    will be responsible for the payment and processing of all financial
    transactions related to operations of the office in Rwanda, and monitor
    expenditures against program budget.
  • Preparation
    and submission of monthly field reports, record-keeping, filing, bank and
    petty
  • Cash
    operations, local procurement from vendors and contracts as needed.
  • Track
    disbursements and investments and liaise with the Nairobi and Aberdeen
    offices accordingly, while providing regular reporting on tranche release
    commitments, pipeline figures, and investment expenditures.
  • Field
    incoming calls and general information queries (telephone and e-mail)
    concerning TWFA  and EATI activities in Rwanda, and assist with
    filing technical, administrative, and partner-specific information for
    quick reference.
  • Perform
    logistical or administrative activities required to ensure smooth
    operations of the Kigali office, including organising maintenance of
    equipment, replenishing supplies etc.
  • Managerial
    responsibility for any other administrative or logistics staff deemed
    necessary.
  • Support
    the value-chain approach by undertaking secondary research and collection
    of data Relevant to identified or potential sectors in Rwanda. This may
    also include primary research or due diligence on potential investment
    opportunities in-country.
  • Assist
    with collecting data on key performance indicators and benchmarks for the
    TWFA investments in-country and uploading into central database.
  • Coordinate
    the filing and storage of all monitoring and evaluation data for quarterly
    and annual reporting. 
  • Provide
    the necessary logistical support for staff-related field travel. This will
    include handling transportation, lodging, and scheduling/meeting
    arrangements, preparation of briefing materials, or any other activity as
    required.
  • Provide
    the necessary logistical support for quarterly board meetings- venue,
    accommodations and travel arrangements
  • Organise
    workshops or conferences, which would involve organising venues, creating
    programmes, inviting speakers etc.
  • Other
    tasks as required by the TWFA and EATI management (Programme Director and
    Senior Management).
  • Occasional
    travel may be required for this position.

Skill Requirements:
  • Demonstrated
    practical experience in the aforementioned areas.
  • Ability
    to work independently while maintaining the highest standards of integrity
    and professionalism. 
  • Excellent
    command of both oral and written English is essential.
  • “People
    person” who is confident and has a positive personality.
  • Strong
    organizational and time management skills are critical – must adhere to
    deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize.
  • Ability
    to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding
    environment.
  • Demonstrable
    in-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Ability
    to utilize an electronic-based accounting and/or fund management system.
  • Familiarity
    with Government of Rwanda taxation, employment and immigration policies.

Qualifications
& work experience:
  • A
    University degree
  • A
    minimum of 5 years’ experience with a donor-funded activity/international
    organisation or previous experience in a similar working environment.
