Assistant Human Resource Business Partner

MAIN
JOB PURPOSE:
To
support the implementation of HR strategy to the business by ensuring that the
HR delivery is in fully aligned to business goals in their area of business.
Support managers and teams in business delivery through enhancing their
capability to deliver Strategy Into Action components, manage their people,
implement change and build relations with key stakeholders (internal and
external)
JOB
SUMMARY

  • Supports
    the activation of the local Human Resource plan (including the talent
    component)
  • Supports
    the activation of the Talent strategy for the business by developing
    insight and analysis of the people related business issues and
    opportunities (by utilising global solutions e.g. Talent Management tools/
    processes and diversity metrics.
  • Helps
    the HR BP Manager to implement change initiatives to deliver enhanced
    organisational effectiveness within the business
  • Supports
    the collection of Human Resources/Organization effectiveness metrics and
    measurement for the business across HR lifecycle
  • Helps
    to monitor and to address legal compliance issues to ensure that the
    organization complies with local and national laws
  • Supports
    the business with Employees & Industrial Relations (ER/IR by having
    knowledge of legislative requirements, an understanding of impact on the
    organization and develops a relationship with works council/ unions,
    government/regulatory bodies, community.
  • Interface
    with HR service provider for delivery of core HR services to the business
    monitors quality and timeliness of service provision
  • Escalates
    HR service provision issues HR BP Managers Encourages groups and
    individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of
    the team.
KEY
REQUIREMENTS
  • University
    graduate 
  • 5
    years’ experience in HR systems and processes. 
  • Good
    knowledge of key HR processes, roles and responsibilities across the
    entire HR lifecycle
  • Relevant
    experience in ER/IR systems and process in a complex environment 
  • Ideally
    has had experience of HR service centre environment and/or expertise teams
    as well as hands-on HR management experience in the business
