Swisscontact
is currently implementing the second phase of an SDC (Swiss Agency for
Development and Cooperation) programme in Rwanda and is looking for a Coordinator
for supervising the additional support to be extended to the 5 VTCs constructed
under PROMOST in the Western province, to ensure effective implementation for
quality improvement and sustainability of the supported units. The
Coordinator will work as a consultant with a medium term contract.

Required
profile
  • A
    professional with at least a Bachelor degree in Education,Engineering,
    Business administration, or other related field
  • Minimum
    5 years’ experience in Education, TVET Sector or Skills Development
  • Fluent
    in Kinyarwanda, English and French
  • Strong
    organizational, analyticaland supervisory skills
  • Readiness
    to travel and work across the districtsof the Western province
  • Good
    communication and negotiation skills
  • A
    high level of integrity and accountability.
Scope
of responsibilities
The
responsibilities of the coordinator include but are not limited to the
following:
  • Management
    of overall implementation of the additional support
  • Managing
    consultants’ work and activities
  • Overseeing
    budgeting and procurement process
  • Linking
    supported VTCs with WDA/IPRC and other relevant authorities/stakeholders
