Organization
Background:

Research Hub is an
insights firm that specialises in monitoring evaluation and research. Our
philosophy is anchored on the belief that the success of every project or idea
is contingent on solid and credible information being available to decision
makers. For this to happen, we are cognisant of the need to spread the
knowledge of monitoring evaluation and research across the rank and file of
staff involved in project management and not just “M&E specialist”. Changes
in technology and increasing demand for counterfactual analysis of development
project require that those involved in the business of collecting, analysing
and using data reflect on how they are doing it.
Research
Hub

aims to facilitate this discourse by ensuring that the development space has a
critical mass of professionals capable of designing, implementing, monitoring
and evaluating projects successfully.
We
do this through
1)
tailored training courses in; Monitoring, evaluation and research, project
planning and management,
2)
cross-sectional studies, formative evaluations/assessments, longitudinal
studies and counterfactual evaluations.
