Job Title: Production Assistant
Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper planning of materials and production operations to meet the delivery schedule on time.
- Check production output according to specifications.
- Ensuring welding parameters such as Amperage, voltage, Gas flow, as specified by WELDING ENGINEER or SOPs.
- Examines weld for bead size and other specifications, ensure good quality weld bead
- Identify issues in efficiency and recommend production efficiency improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Qualifications
- Minimum BSc/BTech/HND Production Engineering or related course of study
- Proven experience as Production Assistant or similar role
- 2-3 related Years’ experience in steel fabrication
Generic Skills:
- Advanced skills in interpret Drawings, Time management, MS Office
- Blueprint reading
- Extensive knowledge of various welding techniques including TGI welding. Oxy welding, arc welding.
