A man accused of raping a three-month – old baby in Adogi Village in Nasarawa State has been arrested by Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps.
After thorough investigations, the para-military security outfit which announced this on its Twitter handle said its operatives had arrested the man.

According to the mother of the victim, Maimuna Adam, she slept with her windows open to allow fresh air into her apartment. She woke up later in the night and realized that her baby was gone, who was supposed to sleep by her side. She raised alarm and her neighbors went looking for her child. They later found her baby inside an uncompleted building, with her pants ripped from her body and bloodstains around her vagina.
The victim was taken to the teaching hospital Jos University (JUTH) where she received surgical treatment.
