Rwanda reported 30 new cases of Covid-19 on Monday , June 15, bringing the tally of confirmed cases to 612 since the country registered its first case in mid-March.
The new cases are linked to the clusters of Rusizi and Rusumo, as well as repatriated Rwandans, according to the Ministry of Health.

After recovery, six Covid-19 patients were released following recovery from treatment centres. The new cases have been in the last 24 hours from 2,908 sample tests conducted.
The country has conducted 94,059 Covid-19 sample tests in total, and recorded two deaths.
Rwanda is currently carrying out an assessment, according to the Rwanda Biomedical Center, to determine whether the resumption of inter-provincial movements and passenger taxi-moto services has had an impact on Covid-19 ‘s prevalence in the country.
The findings will partially inform upcoming Covid-19 directives.
