The journey to a greater Anambra South continues

To God be the glory, today, January 23, 2020, the Federal High Court Abuja has stopped INEC from executing the April 11, 2019 judgement obtained through fraudulent means by Obinna Uzoh. The decision of the court is predicated on the subsisting decision delivered on September 9, 2019 by the Tribunal and upheld by the Court of Appeal on October 29, 2019.

The decision is anchored on the doctrine of hierarchy of courts and judicial precedents. Furthermore, the decision of the Tribunal in September 2019 and the Court of Appeal in October 2019 are all later in time than the April 2019 decision of the FCT High Court.

In the last few days, since the fraud tainted judgement found its way to the media sphere, our dear Senatorial District has been gripped with palpable controversy. I give glory to God that the Federal High Court Abuja halted the fraudulent manner deployed by Obinna Uzoh to secure the Judgement.

I am immensely grateful to my family, friends, and loyal supporters who have always generously contributed their time and effort to my cause. I thank you all for your faith and trust in me. I also thank our party leadership and members for their dedication and steadfastness to my vision.

Our dear Senatorial District stands at the threshold of a new dawn, I look forward to continuing to work for the progress and prosperity of Anambra South. It is my sincere hope that with your continued support and prayers, I will continue to fashion our legislative interventions for the development of my Senatorial District, the South eastern economy and Nigeria at large.

Eyes on the ball!
